Terms of Service
Effective date: September 25th, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Chatterloom LLC (“Chatterloom,” “we,” “us”) for using the Chatterloom program, website, and apps. We’ve tried to write them the way we’d explain them across a kitchen table. If anything here is unclear, write to us at contact@chatterloom.com and we’ll explain it.
By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms.
1. What Chatterloom is
Chatterloom is a relationship-centered, evidence-based parent education and coaching program for families of young children, created by a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist. It teaches the C.H.A.T.T.E.R. Together™ Framework through short videos, practice ideas, and a private journal for your family.
Chatterloom is education for parents. It is not an assessment or a diagnosis, and it doesn’t replace speech and language therapy or care from your child’s own providers. Many families use it alongside therapy. If you have a question about your child’s development, your child’s doctor or a licensed clinician who knows your child is the right person to ask.
2. Your account
- You need to be 18 or older to create an account. Accounts are for parents and caregivers. Children don’t sign in.
- Please give us accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at contact@chatterloom.com and we’ll help.
3. Plans and pricing
Chatterloom is $84 every 3 months (that’s $28 a month, billed quarterly) or $264 per year. These prices include any sales tax.
Your plan renews automatically every 3 months or every year, at the price you signed up at, until you cancel. We’ll tell you before any price change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Who processes your payment
Payments for Chatterloom are handled by Link, a Stripe company. Your purchase is sold through Sold through Link, LLC, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. That means:
- Your receipt and your card statement will show Link, not Chatterloom.
- Link calculates and collects any sales tax that applies.
- Link’s own customer terms also apply to your purchase: see the Sold Through Link Terms.
- We never see or store your full card number.
5. Our 14-day money-back guarantee
If Chatterloom isn’t right for your family, ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and you’ll get your money back in full. No questions, no conditions.
A few things to know:
- The 14 days start from your first purchase. Renewals, every 3 months or once a year, aren’t covered by the guarantee. If you’d rather not renew, cancel any time before your renewal date and you keep full access until the end of the 3 months or year you’ve paid for.
- A refund ends your plan and all access straight away. That includes the course and your journal, milestones, and report. You can still sign in to delete your account, or buy a plan again at chatterloom.com to get everything back. If you’d like to keep a copy of what you’ve written, export your report before you ask for a refund.
- To ask for a refund, write to us at contact@chatterloom.com from the email address on your account. We’ll send your refund, and Link will email you a confirmation.
Link’s refund policy also applies. Because Link sells your plan, you may also be able to get a refund from Link within 60 days in some situations, for example if you didn’t receive what you paid for or a charge wasn’t authorized. See Link’s refund policy. Our 14-day guarantee doesn’t depend on Link’s policy, and Link’s policy doesn’t shorten ours.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel any time. In your account settings in the Chatterloom app, choose Manage your plan, which takes you to Link, where your plan is managed. You can also cancel from any receipt Link sends you.
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the 3 months or year you’ve already paid for. Nothing ends early.
Your journal, milestone history, and report export stay yours after you cancel. You can still sign in, read what you’ve written, and export your report.
7. If a payment fails
If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, you keep access for 7 days while the payment is retried. Updating your card in that time keeps everything as it was.
8. If a charge looks wrong
Write to us first at contact@chatterloom.com. Most things are quick to sort out. You always keep the right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer.
9. The program content
The videos, written materials, the C.H.A.T.T.E.R. Together™ Framework, and everything else we provide belong to Chatterloom and the program’s creator. Your plan gives you a personal license to use them with your own family while your plan is active.
Please don’t copy, share, resell, or publish the content, and don’t share your account with other families. The one exception is your own report export. It’s yours to keep and to show whoever you like.
10. What you write stays yours
The notes, journal entries, and milestones you enter about your child belong to you. We store them so the app can show them back to you, and we handle them as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell them. After a refund you can no longer see them in the app. You can delete them, or buy a plan again to get them back. Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including after a refund. To make a request, write to us at contact@chatterloom.com.
11. Using Chatterloom fairly
Please don’t misuse the service. That means no trying to break or overload it, no accessing other people’s accounts, no scraping the content, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does these things. If we do, we’ll tell you why, unless the law stops us.
12. Changes to the program and these terms
We keep improving Chatterloom, so the program will change over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel before it applies.
13. The legal part
Chatterloom is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular result for your child or family.
To the extent the law allows, Chatterloom LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
