Where Little Voices Are Woven Together

Helping babies and toddlers learn to talk through loving connection and everyday moments.

An evidence-based, relationship-centered approach to early communication.

Welcome to Chatterloom

Chatterloom is a research informed parent education program designed to help families support early communication from the very beginning.

Communication starts long before your child’s first words. Babies and toddlers communicate through sounds, movements, gestures, expressions, and shared experiences. Chatterloom helps you notice these early emerging skills and shows you how to support communication growth using clear, practical tips and tools that fit naturally and easily into everyday family life.

Our Mission

Chatterloom’s mission is to help families support their child’s communication through loving connection and everyday moments by empowering parents with evidence-based strategies they can confidently use at home.

Strong Foundation

It is never too early to get started. The Chatterloom program builds on the positive parent–child relationship you’ve been nurturing from day one. Your responsive presence and loving bond create a strong foundation and natural motivation for communication to grow.

We meet families where they are at, from the newborn stage through toddlerhood. Parents will learn new tools to strengthen their child’s speech and language development.

Our Approach

Inside the program, parents learn not only what to do, but why it works. The guidance is warm, clinically grounded, and designed to be used easily during everyday family interactions. The goal is to provide you and your child confidence, connection, and joyful communication. When communication is rooted in connection and parents are supported with effective tools, meaningful progress follows.

Grow Communication

Helping your child find their voice.

The C.H.A.T.T.E.R. Together™ Framework guides the program and illustrates how communication truly develops. We share the science of communication with you in a way that feels clear, doable, and reassuring. Prelinguistic skills such as connection, shared attention, imitation, and turn-taking are embedded throughout. These essential skills are reinforced through everyday play, routines, and responsive interactions as your child’s receptive and expressive language continues to strengthen.

Create emotional safety and readiness for communication.

Notice and respond to your child’s voice in all its forms, including non-verbal.

Strengthen and build on what your child is already communicating.

Use shared sensory experiences and nature to support early language.

Build vocabulary through storytelling, reading together, and narration of everyday life.

Encourage communication through play, music, and joyful interaction.

Talking increases through routines, consistency, and repeated opportunities.

You’ve Got This. We’ve got you

Hi, I’m Alicia

I’m a fellow parent, the founder of Chatterloom, and a licensed pediatric speech language pathologist. For over 10 years, I’ve had a special place in my heart for the little communicators of this world. I created this course to partner with families during the early years of infancy through toddlerhood and to share proven, practical ways to help your child learn to talk.

While I love working directly with children, I believe the most powerful communication moments happen at home. Parents know their child best and are with them every day, which is why parent education and coaching are considered part of best practices in early intervention and are strongly backed by research.

My approach focuses on building on what families are already doing well and making small, meaningful adjustments within everyday routines to encourage communication. Along the way, parents gain clarity and confidence as they learn how to help support their child’s speech and language.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages is Chatterloom designed for?

Chatterloom is designed for babies and toddlers from birth to three. It can also support older children who are building early communication skills.

Is Chatterloom right for my child if they aren’t talking yet or are just starting to combine words?

Yes. Chatterloom supports communication from the very beginning, including early sounds, gestures, and prelinguistic skills that come before words, and it also helps children combine words, use language more flexibly, and express their thoughts more clearly.

Does Chatterloom support children with different communication styles and needs?

Yes. Chatterloom is created to meet children where they are, including those with hearing differences, diverse developmental profiles, neurodiversity, bilingual or multilingual exposure, different language processing styles (gestalt and analytic), and children who are non speaking,  use sign language, or AAC. The strategies are flexible and adaptable to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

How is Chatterloom different from other programs?

Chatterloom is built on a relationship-centered approach to communication, guided by the C.H.A.T.T.E.R. Together™ framework, which shows how connection and everyday interactions support speech and language development. It recognizes the important role you play, giving you simple, practical ways to help your child.

How much time do I need each day to use Chatterloom?

Chatterloom was built to seamlessly fit into busy family life, with tools that fit naturally into your day like playtime, mealtime, or getting ready for bed. Video modules can be watched at your own pace, and audio threads provide in-the-moment guidance you can listen to during daily routines with your child.

Do I need prior knowledge of speech or language development?

Not at all. Chatterloom is intentionally parent friendly and approachable, with simple, easy to use strategies so you can feel confident using them from the start.

Is this program helpful if my child is already in speech and language therapy?

Absolutely. Many families use Chatterloom alongside speech and language therapy to better understand their child’s goals and support communication at home. This combo can make a meaningful difference in your child’s progress.

Will this replace speech and language therapy if my child needs it?

No. Chatterloom is not a replacement for individualized, direct intervention. It is a parent education and coaching program designed to support your child’s communication.

What if I can’t afford the program right now?

We understand that cost can be a concern for many families, so Chatterloom offers flexible payment options, scholarships, and the ability to use HSA funds. We also offer a 14-day money-back guarantee so you can feel confident in your purchase.
